Welcome!

Saying the last goodbye to a loved one is never easy. It is a time of grief, a time of change and a time of unease. Yet, it is an event we all have to face at some point in our lives.

Even though it is such a turbulent time, decisions still have to be made in regards to the funeral of the deceased. This might be particularly difficult if your loved one has left no instructions about what they would like. There are so many factors to a funeral to consider from whether to have a burial or cremation to the type of coffin to choose to the content of the funeral ceremony.

As a funeral celebrant, it would be my honour to work with you to create a funeral ceremony that truly reflects the life of your loved one. I will follow your lead, providing as many or as few suggestions as you require. I will listen, support and guide you through the decisions that need to be made. This might all be in the initial meeting or it might be that you wish to meet me a number of times to get the ceremony just right.

I am your celebrant and will do my utmost to carry out the requests that are made wherever possible. Prior to the ceremony I will send you a draft script to ensure it is what you want. Nothing will be said in the ceremony that you have not authorised. If you wish other speakers and/or performers to take part in the ceremony then I am willing to meet or speak with them to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. I will also maintain regular contact with your chosen Funeral Director from the point of booking until after the ceremony.

Alternatively, if you wish to plan your own funeral ceremony, I can meet with you to discuss your ideas and create the perfect celebration of your life. I will then keep a copy of the script until the time comes that it is required.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to discuss anything further.
